Welcome to Sines Marina, a safe and friendly, deep water marina located on the Atlantic coast of the Alentejo region of South West Portugal.
Sines Marina is bound to the north by Lagoas de Santo Andre and Sancha Nature Reserves. This picturesque coastal region is known for its diverse bird species, lagoons and beautiful views. To the south you find the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina marine reserve, known for its many beaches enjoyed by surfers and all others who visit.
Sines Marina is the only leisure port between Tróia, to the south of Lisbon and the Algarve region of Portugal. Its immediate proximity to the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and its navigable approach in all weather is enjoyed by all.
Positioned within the larger commercial harbor of Sines, the marina shares a protected smaller inner harbor with the busy local fish fleet.
The marina is adjacent to a clean sandy beach nestled below the delightful old town of Sines.
A nautical claim to fame is that Vasco de Gama was born in a house near the church of Nossa Senhora das Salas in Sines town. His statue outside the Sines Castle proudly overlooks the harbor, keeping a watchful eye over the maritime traffic.
Sines Marina consists of security gated floating pontoons with finger arms to accommodate the tidal range. Its current mooring capacity is around 182 berths for boats up to 25 meters in length. In addition, we have a hard standing area, supported with a boat ramp, fixed 5 tonne crane and a travel lift that has a capacity of 45 tonnes.
